"The 38 Letters from J.D. Rockefeller to His Son" is a wildly popular self-help and business advice book in China, though experts note that the letters themselves are widely considered a modern fabrication not actually written by John D. Rockefeller.
Published in China. Not actually written by John D Rockefeller
John D Rockefeller was one of my idols. It's fascinating what a poor boy could achieve in a lifetime. Worth reading and some parts putting into practice. Thanks for this wonderful rendition.
I love how you approached him as a person and not an elite. Today’s society is too ready to cannibalize the rich and their fellow people.
It is very interesting to see his Christian faith at work here, and the motives behind his actions. The fact that he was poor from a young age really says a lot about how little research modern society does. Connections between things like the Rothschilds and other writings such as ‘protect your reputation at all costs’ in the 48 laws of power by Robert Greene are also incredibly interesting and deserve a second glance.
I will definitely be coming back to this in the future.
Thank you for the article, it provided value and deserves both recognition and attention.
There is a huge difference between knowledge and wisdom and the later should never be used with Rockefeller's name. Using charity for PR is not the same as being a charitable person. May we follow Yeshua/Jesus as our example and not Rockefeller.
Nice article. The part about Rockefeller prioritizing the market, his strengths, then the opponent, reminds me of Sun Tzu’s know the Earth, know yourself, know the enemy.
the very first principle ties to islam. With hardship comes ease. No wonder many righteous muslims had found the dunya following them. adhering to the quran and sunnah is what brings wealth. others may find themselves wealthy by independently diverging on the same invariant truths revealed in the quran through experience. Allahs blessing to those who dont know him and his explicit blessing to those who do.

Letters to your children are compelling. Distilling your entire life and all experiences into a few thousand words..
Him and Carnegie are the first two business people I studied as a child. Can’t wait to read this.
Interesting.

I think Rockefeller was very wise.

I enjoyed every bit of this write-up. I need to understudy John D. Rockefeller.
Great mindset. Well put together
